Galax Arena - a Message for Society?

"Galax-Arena" is definitely a message for society as it notifies people of what our world could come to in the future. A world where everyone is greedy, selfish and competitive, and where no one cares for anyone else, but themselves. Basically a world of "survival of the fittest." "Galax-Arena" also symbolises how animals feel whilst locked up all day, and in a way, it gives us a reality check on how we cruelly `use' them- for eg animal testing.
Gillian Rubinstein creates a vision of what the world might be like in 2021. She describes the "children living on the streets, sleeping under tunnels and bridges, staying alive by begging and by displays of acrobatics..."
