Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder

Having had problems concentrating and doing school work, I was brought under advisement of Normandin Junior High to the school administration building for a number of psychological tests. I was escorted to an empty conference room with a man whose name I do not recall. After a period of about two hours and the completion of multiple tests, I was informed that I have Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder (ADHD). I was then given an explanation of what I should expect the near future.
I was told that ADHD is only the beginning and that the road gets rockier. ADHD is a chemical imbalance in the brain. This causes short attention span, an inability to focus or to concentrate, and difficulty in completing tasks. I was put on medication which unfortunately had to be changed every few weeks until the right combination for me could be found.
