The book I chose was Night Hoops by: Carl Deuker. This is a realistic fiction book. I chose this book because it is about basketball and I like basketball. The other reason I chose this book was because of the blurb. It sounded interesting and I wanted to read it. So, I started the book and I liked it so I kept on going. This is why I chose this book.

The setting was mostly around the middle of the school year. There was more than one important place in the book. One of the important places in the book was Nick backyard that is where Tent and Nick form there friendship. The second place is the basketball court in school.
