The Excretory System: Based on the Human Anatomy
Summary: This essay is about the Excretory System, which is the system in the human anatomy that extracts our wastes, and in doing so, depletes our body from the many harmful toxins that enter it.
The excretory system, in many ways, is one of the most important systems in the human body. It extracts our wastes, and in doing so, depletes our body from the many harmful toxins that enter it in the first place.
Out of the many organs that are in the excretory system, we will mainly discuss the bottom part of the body, which includes the four general organs; there are -
· Kidneys
· Ureters
· Bladder
· Urethra
These are the organs that construct the part of the body that creates urine and feces (feces is created and excreted by the digestive system).
· Lungs
The lungs are the organs that allow us to breathe in oxygen, and in the process expel carbon dioxide. (See Figure 4) Since the lungs are more sided on the complex respiratory system, we will not discuss it in this report.
