Service to U.s.
People can serve this country by doing jobs that help us directly like, police officers, firefighters, and doctors. Police officers help our country by keeping it safe. Firefighters help our country with their courage and determination, which became even more true to our nation after September 11th. Doctors are yet another example of hard work to help our country. Doctors go through extensive training to keep us healthy. No matter who makes a bigger contribution to our nation, either doctors or firefighters, all of these jobs service this country in an important way.
Although jobs such as, firefighting and practicing medicine, are more widely appreciated throughout the nation, all jobs service the nation in a significant way. People who work as postal workers, construction workers, and bus drivers serve the country because without them the nation wouldn't function correctly. Without postal workers mail wouldn't be sent or received, and people would rely solely on e-mail and the telephone. Without construction workers their would be no improvements to the cities and towns in the nation. Without bus drivers people wouldn't be able to get places if they didn't own a car, which many people don't.All jobs, even those that are usually disregarded by many people serve a purpose to keep the country running smoothly.
Although when most people think of service to our country they think of adults working to improve the nation, children and young adults also play a vital role in keeping the country going. Children and young adults can serve this country by recycling and working hard to further their education. Children and young adults have an essential responsibility to service our country because soon they will be running it.
Service to our nation keeps it going the best way as possible. Service to our country is something that can be done by people of every age, creed, and color. No matter what someone does to serve the nation it all adds up to a satisfactory nation.
