The piece that I am studding for my GCSE course work for music is called Berceuse which was produced by a composer that has the name of Faure.

Faure was a French composer and organist, born in Pamiers. He studied music at the École Niedermeyer, Paris. Faure was instrumental in keeping French musical values alive at a time when the tendency throughout Europe was to adopt the goals and techniques of German romantic music. Faure preferred a discreet emotional range which can be seen through out of this piece of music as it contains many legato phrases which smoothes the structure and the tied notes really added to the softness of the music which gives the piece its feel of love and peace. He composed within the smaller genres, especially songs and short piano pieces. He valued musical logic and never allowed literary or philosophical associations to rule...
