Should the Driving Age Be Higher?

Would people drive more relaxed if they knew the roads were safer? The driving age in Ontario is currently sixteen and should be raised to eighteen. The leading cause of death in sixteen and seventeen year olds is automobile accidents. Also sixteen and seventeen year olds have the highest insurance costs. As well if the driving age were raised there would be more experienced drivers on the road. All of the issues involved with the driving age could be easily resolved if the driving age was changed.
