The decisions we make not only affect us, but others as well. Whether we made those decisions in hopes that the outcome will be positive or not does not matter. What matters though is what happened due to those decisions. In the book The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, we see the story of a poor farmer whose decisions change not only his life, but his family and neighbors lives as well. While many of these decisions are good one, we are not perfect and neither is Wang Lung.
