Isaac Asimov has written many books and stories throughout his lifetime, many of them involving robots and other futuristic technology. Two such works are The Bicentennial Man and That Thou Art Mindful of Him. Both of these short stories tell about a robot that is trying to determine just what is the difference between robots and humans. The robot in The Bicentennial Man, Andrew, embodies the idea that robots are equal to, if not better than humans. The stories both conclude with the general opinion of the time period in which they were written, which displays the influence from Asimov's life and the time in which he lived.
