The September 11 terrorist attacks had a huge affect on the western world. Terrorism has changed the nature of international relations. We can no longer clearly see who the enemy is and when they will strike. The September 11 terrorist attacks resulted in a downturn in the US economy and an ever increasing tension between the US and countries alleged to have been harbouring terrorists. The so-called `War On Terror' has lead to the US invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and is costing the US economy billions...
