A similar picture must have existed for thousands of years. Groups of nomadic peoples traveling from place to place looking for game, water and shelter. Then, about 6,000 B.C. man learned an invaluable skill. He learned to grow crops.This marked the beginning of the Neolithic Era, or New Stone Age. It may not seem like it but those years long past have a strong likeness to today.
