Physiognomy
Summary: Physiognomy is nothing but a mere superstition and believed only by the irrational.
Can a man's face determine his abilities? Can a man's face determine his character? Can a man's face decide his destiny? This practice of judging a human being from his facial features is called physiognomy. The fat, skin, muscles, soft tissues, cartilage, placement, and shape of the skull's bones primarily mold a person's face. Physiognomy implies that these physical qualities somewhat parallel a person's mind and future.
Some people claim that face reading can reveal a man's mentality. This art has thrived since the time of the famous Greek philosophers such as Aristotle and Socrates. The Indians and Chinese also observed and studied physiognomy. At the same time, it flourished amongst the Arab world and Romans.
