America's War on Drugs is in fact this country's most expensive and longest war to date. Spending in the hundreds of billions of dollars have led to minimal damage to the enemy, who grow stronger every year. Should we have created the War on Drugs? Are we as taxpayers getting our money's worth invested into this war? Can we actually win this war? Sadly, the answer to all of these questions is `no', simply because this war was over before it even began. There is some way to stop it, but unlike a hobo, throwing money at it will not make it go away. America's War on Drug's is merely a pipedream, a fine idea that is sadly impossible to achieve.
