Journal Entry of Chapter 8 in April Morning
Summary: Essay consists of an overview of points in chapter eight from the novel "April Morning."
The last chapter, chapter eight, was very slow, without action, but very meaningful. For example, Ruth kept bringing up marriage when she was talking with Adam. I think that Adam loves Ruth but he doesn't want to talk about being married at the age of 15. This shows another part of Adam that is adult-like. When kids "love" each other, they may talk about marriage and say that they will get married no matter what happens, but Adam knows that things will happen and he may get killed in the war. Also, he knows that getting married at such a young age would be very hard on him and Ruth.
