The Winslow Boy
Summary: Discusses how "The Winslow Boy" by Terence Rattigan proves that justice will be served.
For me the scene in the play which is most memorable is the final scene. There are several reasons for this: characters are finally revealed in their true nature, there is a chance in relationships, and at the end of the exciting events `The Winslow Boy' is finally cleared. This leaves the reader with the sense that however unjustly the boy has been treated over two years; "right has been done" in a conclusion which draws together the themes. Innocence is proved, sacrifice is justified and truth comes out in each of the characters, so that new relationships can be clearly established.
