Have you ever received a blood transfusion, or eaten a peanut butter sandwich? Well, if you have you are experiencing a few of many African American inventions. The African Americans were forcefully brought to this country as slaves, yet under the conditions they manage to help the country in which they were enslaved by inventing. African Americans are the most under appreciated race of inventors this country has seen. From their roots as slaves to the latest technology, the African Americans made most of the great inventions of their time. Many of these inventors to this day still do not get credit for their inventions due to the racial prejudices.
