Brotherhood is something that many people have experienced. All of those people could agree that it has its ups and downs. In the novel The Scarlet Ibis, brotherhood has proven to be a burden as well as a blessing.
To some people, a brother is their most valued possession and Brother spent six years of his life without one. Brother wanted ."..more than anything else... a brother."
