Basic civil rights as well as human rights have denied people especially the African Americans. Through the actions of individuals, groups and government, this group was forced into slavery for centuries and generations to come. Through this period of time, their work was long and harsh, a normal life was something that they have never heard of, justice was something that was not given to them and the only reason that they had to put up with these conditions was for economical reasons to suit the American's way of life.

The pressure and beating that the slaves had to go through due to their work was something that no one in our society today can compare to.
