Summary: Compares different versions of the play or movie of "Othello."
Othello in all its forms convey a clear and simplistic theme where there is the fall of a tragic hero due to his/her flaw, which in this case happens to be jealousy for Othello. However, due to the changes, which occur in context, the texts have to be portrayed differently to satisfy what the audience expects from a movie of that particular time. Therefore, to do this the play/movie must retain the basic plot and theme but at the same time, the director must decide what to add/remove for the final act. Hence, there may be minor changes due, though the result will still convey the same message to audience. This on the other hand will vary depending upon the format that would please the audience.
