The Things I Do for School
Summary: Essay describes the hardship of a young person, who is a slacker, trying to make their way through high school by doing the least amount of work possible and still passing.
It all started in preschool, your mother drives you that fatefull day and you get out of the car very happily and eagerilly for your fist day of a school. Some of us became homesick over that hour and a half, but others never wanted to leave. Those are, the "good ol' days." One should enjoy them while they can.
Then, a few years later, one begins first grade. This is the first time you've been to school for 7 hours in a row and after a few weeks, the children wise up and realize, "This isn't as cool as I thought it was." And so begins the, what i like to call "dark ages" of schooling. Sure, there's a few cool field trips and some great friends you make, but all in all, you'd rather have been home sleeping until your natural wake up time or playing video...
