Summary: This is a look at the life of Franklin D. Roosevelt.
At the height of the Depression, Franklin D. Roosevelt came into the presidency. His reforms and ideas, along with the increased industrial opportunities created in World War II, allowed him to not only turn the economy of an entire country around, but to bring America to it's place as the leading power in the world. Franklin Delano Roosevelt best described his feelings in his timeless statement, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." With this statement as the base of his plans to secure the nation, America turned around politically, economically, and socially through the reforms and reconstruction implemented by Roosevelt.
