Johannes Kepler
Summary: Essay briefly describes the life of a mathematician named Johannes Kepler. He made many famous discoveries and his work has a great impact today.
Johannes Kepler was born on December 27, 1571 in Weil der Stadt to two very religious parents. He was premature and a very sickly baby. He got smallpox which totally messed up his vision. After his father died in 1576 in war probably, in the Netherlands, he and his mother moved in to his grandfather's inn. He attended the local school in Leonberg. When he was still a child he and his mother saw a comet from a mountain and it was such an awesome experience for Johannes. Later he enrolled in at the University of Tübingen, a Lutheran school. He always intended to be ordained, but he soon found that Astronomy was his true passion. His motives weren't selfish, though.
