Evolutionism Over Creationsim
Summary: Contains facts supporting evolution over creationism concerning how everything came into existence.
Evolutionism and Creationism have been the subject of debate for many years. When all the facts are looked at, however, it can be seen that the theory of evolution has much stronger supports to back it up than that of Creationism. The main idea of evolution is that of common descent, that man comes from the same original species as other types of animals. Three arguments that support this theory of common descent are that of homologous and vestigial organs, the fossil record, DNA, and the fact that Creationists contradict themselves.
To give some background, homologous organs are organs from different organisms that have the same or similar function. A vestigial organ is one that is left over from evolutionary past.
