We also see this result through the mean heights of both species in seedling mix. Lupinus. augustifolius¡¦s mean height is 18.07cm while Lupinus. arboreus¡¦s mean height in seedling mix is 11.50cm. The number of leaves for each species in seedling mix also supports this generalisation. The mean number of leaves on Lupinus. augustifolius is 18, while for Lupinus. arboreus the mean number of leaves is 6. From these results we can clearly see that Lupinus. augustifolius grows better in seedling mix than Lupinus. arboreus.
