Playing with heart is what drives me. No longer is the game about winning but a second challenge is adopted; improvement. Each bounce of the basketball has meaning, has a purpose, has rhythm. It is that rhythm that drives my every move. My heart carries the beat of the ball, and we become but one beat. The challenge now, is accepting error. In accepting that, I can accept a broken beat, or a missed dribble because it is a missed dribble that mirror the impediments within my life. It is every opponent I face that represent the trials I must pass within myself and my life. Basketball is a part of who I am and how I shape my life.
