Summary: The Holocaust
Auchwitz was a concentration camp that held significant value to the Nazis. To many, Auchwitz was known as the "infamous" death camp. Auchwitz had a reputation among those first entering it. If you went right and the person standing next to you went left, you would never see them again. To the Nazis, Auchwitz was a camp far ahead of others in its technology and its uses. Auchwitz was set up in a way that mass amounts of people could be moved and placed somewhere every day. Auchwitz also possessed a new technology that could be used in the so called "extermination" of the Jews as well as other "undesirables." There was one main reason for the existence of the Auchwitz Concentration Camp, mass murder of Jews.
