America in WWII
During and after W.W.II. American society suffered changes necessaries without regard to consequences, and irreversible that made a mark on history. They had a positive as well as a negative aspect. The American society had to assume the new kind of life that the war gave them, trying to duplicate forces for win the war, the men in the battlefront and the women in the home front. Although Japanese Americans were discriminated against, women's lives improved because they experienced more freedom.
People with Japanese ancestry were a big problem in the United States after Pearl Harbor. When the United States went to war against the Japanese it was easier to identify Japanese Americans than Germans or Italians.
