Two is Company, Three is a Life Story
In Nancy Richler's "Your Mouth is Lovely" the story draws the reader into a dreary superstitious time. The time and setting of this story may be different but the importance of relationships is still shown to be universal in time and place. The narrator's circumstances come to be extraordinary but the difficulties with different mothers and changing routines in home to home are issues dealt with by the most ordinary of people.
