Summary: Essay discusses a cartoon that appeared in the LA Times and whther we should go to war or not.
In the Editorial section of the Los Angeles Times Newspaper of Wednesday October 9, 2002, there is an article, The War Debate, Giving two opposite opinions of whether we should declare war on Saddam Hussein or not. We have one side here, John W. Warner who is supporting the ideals of war because he states "There are times, again, we must be prepared and willing to resort to the use of force to protect our national security and the people of our great nation and those of our allies. This is one of those times." John Warner says that Saddam has these weapons for sure and he has used them before. We must be able to step it up because in the past, when he had them, he used them against others, and now he has more and he will probably use them if not against use, then on others...
