The stream that we have been studying during the months of April and May 2003 is called Manor Stream. The stream is located in Miquon, Pennsylvania and the section of Manor Stream that group B studied was the section near the Timber's Edge Shelter. The surrounding environment is mostly forest but to the east of our site there is a housing development and a golf course. There isn't much in the way of diversity anymore because the multiflora rose has invaded. The girl scouts often use this land for summer camps and other uses. The brand name of the test kits that we used is La Motte. The types of kits that we used from there are pH, phosphates, nitrates, dissolved oxygen, and fecal coliform tests.
