Summary: To what extent did the Nazi party carry out a "Social Revolution" between 1933 and 1945?
"When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already. . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."" Adolf Hitler clearly told the people in his speech that society would change, that Europe would become a `new camp.' The Nazi's success in carry out a social revolution, however, was very limited. Hitler's words were far more powerful than his party could deliver, and far more powerful than the Nazis needed to deliver. If social is defined as relating to human welfare, and revolution as a sudden or momentous change in a situation, then the Nazi's "Social Revolution" did not actually take place.
