Lutheranism, Calvanism, and Catholicism
Summary: This essay compares the three religious, during the time of the Protestant Reformation.
The empirical evidence indicates that the differences between Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Catholicism can best be conveyed through their religious principles of clerical celibacy, the sacraments, and the use of the bible. Although Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Catholicism appear to have vast differences, they in fact had and have many important similarities such as paths to salvation and the role of women and clerical women. Calvinism and Lutheranism share many of the same religious principles mainly because they are both sections of Protestantism. The religious principles of Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Catholicism are fascinating, and there is no better way to highlight them, than to compare and contrast those religious principles.
