Although humans cannot understand their feeling on the issue, some primordial sense of fear rises in them when they approach an unknown element. People seem to congregate in tribes, perhaps initially a means of survival, and when they encounter an alien, they innately seek to either make it their own or destroy it. By attempting to assimilate all foreign entities into one's world, a person can establish an unerring sense of security or even power in his or her reality.
