Hope in a world of Uncertainty
In 1990, in Canada, suicide was the second largest leading cause of death in both male and females. The rate of suicide between the ages of 10 to 14 doubled in the last 30 years. Are we not able to find hope despite our problems? It seems as though we feel cut off from the world in which we live in, completely isolated and alone. Is this what the world has done for the youth of today, or are we the ones that have grown less hopeful throughout the years? As we continue to grow older and become more involved in this new world, it's as though our hope for the future is slowly draining away.
Many experiences of us the youth can scare us. Some of these scars leave simple footprints in our lives; others have the power to make our lives horrible...
