As the French Open, one of the four biggest tennis events during the year starts May 26th, and as America's rebuilding efforts in Iraq start, France comes to the center of attention yet again, mostly for its foreign policy instead of the tennis tournament that is played on the famous red clay. It has become apparent that France was and is still strongly apposed to the American led overthrow of Saddam Hussein. This anti-war stance is hated by Americans and has brought strong negative attention to the country. France is a country of in-action and it seems as though it would have learned the hard way of the serious consequences of this sort of in-action during WWI and especially the German occupation and oppression of WWII.

Maybe France really isn't against stopping terrorism and ending the Hussein threat against democracy. Terrorists don't have strong anti-French feelings that Americans...
