Movie Comparison Between Shakespeare in Love and Elizabeth
Summary: Essay evaluates two movies, Elizabeth and Shakespeare in love.
The movies that we watched in class gave a really good understanding of the time period and life of the writers and their inspirations during the reign of Elizabeth. Although being from the same time period, the two movies portrayed two completely different images. "Elizabeth" was full of esurience for power and violence. "Shakespeare in Love" was full of love, enjoyment, entertainment and people's behaviour, and last but not least about forgetting the monetary differences and following the directions given by your heart instead of your brain. The movie that best described the Elizabethan time period was the movie "Elizabeth", the one with violence and tyranny.
