Sweatshops, you may ask yourself, what's a sweatshop? The definition I found was: "a shop employing workers at low wages, for long hours, and under poor conditions." (infoplease.com), but is more than that. Sweatshops are also known as "maquiladoras". The sweatshops or maquiladoras are located everywhere, from México to Vietnam. Big companies, like Nike, have a lot of sweatshops in poor countries, or places where poverty is a big problem. Why? Just because anybody who needs the money would work, even if it meant to be paid less than minimum wage and work in terrible conditions; just because if they don't work in any of this maquiladoras, where are they going to get the money.
Nike sure follows that rule, "look before you cross," before establishing a sweatshop first they look for a country or place where poverty rules, so the sweatshop would be the only...
