The motion picture What Dreams May Come offers a man's vision of the afterlife. This movie touched basis on many topics, such as, love, hate, sacrifice and the struggles involved with death. The idea this film casts forward is when death arrives a person experiences decisions whether to live death in exile or bliss. The primary focus of afterlife and the rebirth comes when Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams) dies in an unfortunate yet ironic car accident.

Chris lives a normal life with two children, Ian and Marie, and his wife Annie. But the struggle of life and death comes after a traumatizing incident where the children die in a car accident.
