End Justifies the Means in Mississippi Burning
Summary: Mississippi Burning, how the end justifies the means.
In the movie, "Mississippi Burning," ."..a wave of violence and persecution has erupted, leaving a country rocking in it's wake." Into this scene of horrific deeds and terror-stricken families, comes a pair of FBI agents, whose differing tactics, try seemingly in vein, to prevent racially based violence. In this essay, I will discuss getting results using crooked methods with reference to each of the FBI agents and some of the possibilities, had Agent Ward stayed dominant.
Firstly, from the very beginning of the movie, I immediately noticed the different methods, used by each of the agents. Agent Anderson, with his former Southern sheriff mentality, and hard-nosed approach, compared to Agent Ward, with his by-the-book ideals and methods, cast a grim picture for their partnership.
