Easy Rider is different than all other movies from its time period. It contains elements of filmmaking not common at that time. Also, it addresses social issues more truthfully than any other films had ever done before. The movie watcher connects with the three main characters, and when they encounter difficulties the viewer can easily relate to the characters. Easy Rider explores the voyage of two hippie bikers who are representatives of the time period. They embark on a journey in search of a true sense of freedom, but all they find is hatred and discrimination from a society that misunderstands them.
