In many civilizations there were empires with great achievements that had impacts on the different areas of the world. The Mongolian Empire, lead by Kublai Khan, is the most vast empires ever! Kublai Khan was a very good and smart leader who was able to make significant achievements with the empire, and was able to conquer mass amounts of land. The Ottoman Empire was also large and powerful especially during the late 1500's through the early 1600's. The Ottoman Empire was the longest lasting Empire; lasting around 600 years. The members of the Seljuks formed an empire in southwestern Asia from mid-1000 through mid-1200 AD. This Empire strongly believed in Islamic beliefs and defended Muslims.
