The Industrial Revolution was a time of remarkable changes, from hand tools and handmade items, to products which were mass produced by machines. Workers became more productive and more items were manufactured, prices are dropping, making limited and hard to make items available to the poor and not only the rich. Life is generally improving, but the industrial revolution was also harmful. Pollution is increasing, working conditions are harmful, and factory owners are employing women and young children, making them work long and hard hours. The industrial revolution was a time for change. For the better and for the worse.

Now that were nearing the end of the revolution we can see the effects that it has had on us personally, and as a society. I'm going to discuss six effects the revolution has had on us, three good and three bad:
