Do You Have The Right to Die?
Summary: Examines the moral argument of whether someone has the right to die if they want to.
Do you have the right to die, or even the right to die how you want to? Many people question it, and argue the fact that a person should be able to choose the way they die, or even die when they feel their life has been lived. These cases include many people's struggles to find the truth. A couple cases that I have chosen are from articles I found during my research. The first article is titled, "Right-To-Die Case Dismissed." Terminally ill motor neurone disease sufferer Diane Pretty has lost the last stage of her court battle to be allowed to end her life. "Law Defender" Lord Bingham unanimously dismissed the appeal, saying, "Human rights legislation was in place to protect life, rather than end it."
