Medieval Guild Vs. Today's Union
There are many differences between a crafts guild from the medieval times, and a workers union from today. First you must identify what a guild and a union both are, so first, a guild is "A similar association, as of merchants or artisans, in medieval times." (dictionary.com) While there are many definitions of a union, and many being unclear, I will do my best to determine what my definition of what a union is. There are many different types of unions; there is one for every job type there is (auto repair, musicians, taxi drivers, so on and so forth) and when you join a union you have to pay a regular fee, but you get something out of it too.
