Industrial Hemp: Pot its Not
Assume briefly, that there is an agricultural plant that could be used in over 25,000 different ways and had the potential to improve our environment and economy. What if such a plant existed and yet was considered illegal because the government considers it to be a drug, yet there is no evidence to support this claim. Industrial hemp is such a plant. It offers these benefits, and has the potential to positively change the farming industry forever. Unfortunately, in our country, hemp can not separate itself from its distant relative, Marijuana. Hemp is not Marijuana; it is a crop just like soybeans, corn, or cotton. The misconceptions of our people and misguidance of our own government prevent us from the cultivation of industrial hemp, a crop that has been used throughout history that could revolutionize industry, save our environment...
