My article is about how 350 Million Americans have Multiple Sclerosis, MS is believed to be caused be immune cells attacking the protective myelin sheath surrounding nerve fibers in the brain and spinal chord. Initially, the body can repair the damage, but over time the nerves become scarred and stop transmitting signals.

In the past by the doctors had been treating the disorder by waiting for two episodes of nerve problems to happen in two different parts of the body before they are diagnosed with MS. But until recently, the doctors have been giving patients the medication when only one episode of the disorder had taken place this could cut the chances of developing the disorder.

I think this article relates to Anatomy, because it is talking about the things that we where studying in class, like MS.

I think that this new information that they have come up with in dealing with this disorder is great. I hope that more of these kinds of treatment will be available in the future for other diseases and disorders such like this.
