Animal Farm - Character of Boxer

Summary: Boxer's character in Animal Farm by George Orwell.
Many of the animals in Animal Farm wish to be strong, diligent workers. They all want to work together in harmony and have a productive, well-working farm. Though most of the animals (excluding the pigs, Mollie, and the cat) put in their fair share of work, one animal takes everything he does a step farther. Boxer never stops wanting to work harder. He gives his all in the rebellion and remains faithful to the animals when times are hardest. Boxer continues to work as much as possible throughout the novel. No matter what he is doing, he always looks out for the well being of his friends.

Boxer is a rather naïve horse, who will believe anything he is told by Napoleon. One of his personal mottoes is "Napoleon is always right!" (Orwell, page 75) His trust in Napoleon used against him when Squealer is trying to convince...
