Summary: A sumary of events that occured in WWII
When World War I came to an end, all of the victorious nations joined together to form the "League of Nations". This leagues' purpose was to make a collective effort of any overly aggressive action from one nation to another. However, the league was not able to pass its first test. When Japan used a lame excuse, in 1931, to attack and take over the people of Manchuria, the league was a little late in taking action. By the time that they had told Japan to stop their actions, Manchuria had already been overrun and transformed into a Japanese state. The United States was at least smart enough not to join the phony "League of Nations".
