After countless failed attempts to begin my essay, I decided to write down what it really is that my generation values. The list I came up with seemed like the usual riffraff...having fun, eventually supporting a family, and being down to earth. I then proceeded to think who possessed all of these qualities and would basically act as a voice for Generation Y. Soon after, a cartoon character came to my mind, and I knew right then that the voice of my generation had to be Homer Simpson.
