Bill Against Affirmative Discrimination
There shall be equal consideration to all persons, no matter what race or ethnic background, when applying to any college or university.
SECTION 1
-This bill will require all admission officials, from every college/university, to review the qualifications of all applicants without bias or discrimination. Each applicant will be reviewed only on his or her academic achievements and extra curricular accomplishments instead of their race or ethnic background. It shall be required that any question about race and/or ethnicity on an application be removed pending the passage of this bill.
- This bill is necessary because no person should be denied nor given admission because of their race. Applicants should be judged on their academic achievements and extra curricular activities. As a result of anti-discriminatory laws and policies, reverse discrimination has become prevalent in many facets of our society...
